  1. Safe Exploration: Allow undo, no one-way options (that cannot revert)
  2. Instant Gratification: Show progress. Update screen as info is entered.
  3. Satisficing: Let them get the job done without learning best practices.
  4. Changes in Midstream: Continue where users left off.
  5. Deferred Choices: Let users by-pass answering as many questions as possible
  6. Incremental Construction: Let users build their work piece by piece in many go’s; don’t expect them to get it done right the first time.
  7. Habituation: Use conventions users are used to
